Lockheed Martin DMSMS Engineer Stf in Benbrook, Texas

Manage Platform Obsolescence efforts  - CDRL reporting, Review SDRL's, analyze Sikorsky and Supplier BOM's for obsolete parts, Interface with program IPT's and managers, customers and suppliers. Create a proactive Parts Obsolescence / DMSMS Plan in accordance with Aircraft Program Requirements. Identify, manage and track parts obsolescence issues and diminishing manufacturing source issues in accordance with Program Parts Obsolescence Plan. Work with Design Integrated Product Teams, Suppliers, and Customer to analyze obsolete items, assess impact, and propose potential resolution options. Upon mutual agreement on course of action, document final resolution of obsolescence cases. Report on closure status of all identified obsolescence cases on program as contractually required.Other related duties on an as-required basis.

Basic Qualifications 10 years experience with familiarity with Aircraft Avionics and Obsolescence Management. Use of Personal computer and/or workstation. Ability to meet program specific OPSEC requirements.

Desired skills Experience using SIlicon Expert Proactive Obsolescence Forecasting Tool (or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite. Current experience with supporting obsolescence management for military customers. Masters in Systems Engineering.
