Lockheed Martin Business Operations Support in Bethesda, Maryland
Reporting to the Director of Strategic Sourcing & TA Solutions, the Business Operations supports the Director in managing day-to-day operations for the organization with an emphasis on linking the overarching HR and Global Talent Acquisition, Global Mobility, and Executive Recruiting strategy to the Lockheed Martin business strategy. The candidate should possess a unique blend of skills to excel in an executive environment. Specifically, the ideal candidate will have strong analytical thinking and business acumen skills, exhibit exceptional organizational skills, demonstrate proactive thinking, operate autonomously as appropriate, and produce superior work products under short deadlines. The candidate will also be able to manage multiple projects and activities at any given time.
In addition to supporting the Director, the candidate will work with the SS&S Leadership Team to develop integrated plans and strategies that advance the Human Capital goals of the corporation. Following this 18-24 month assignment, the candidate should be prepared for placement in a position that will provide an opportunity to employ the skills and experiences gained in this development assignment.
Specific duties are as follows:
Anticipates Directors needs and proactively identifies areas for collaboration and integration.
Develops weekly, bi-weekly and monthly meeting agendas and facilitates sessions where applicable; provides executive summary of action items and establishes deadlines for follow up. Coordinates appropriate presenters and partners with Administrative Assistant to coordinate scheduling.
Advises and collaborates with key stakeholders on Directors requests, roll out of key GTA / ER / GM initiatives, etc.
Develops key communications in partnership with Corporate Communications in support of the Director, including presentations and correspondence.
Coordinates requests for information and distills inputs into the most salient points for use at the executive level, including HRLT meetings, weekly situational reports, quarterly updates, etc.
Willing to travel as needed.
Other duties and special projects as assigned.
Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.
