Due to the variety of the work products, the candidate will need a flexible and adaptable skill set, with a strong learning orientation. This role will support the engineering team in the release of documents, configuration management, procuring material, working with vendors as well as hands on work with assembly and test.
The candidate will need a product development mindset and any of the following would be a plus: opto-mechanical design, electronics packaging, 3D/CAD modeling. The successful candidate will demonstrate a level of autonomy in their task execution while contributing to the larger, engineering organization.
Must be comfortable within a rapid development environment; able to execute within short timelines and a given budget. Attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, good organizational skills, computer literacy, and a demonstrated ability to thrive in a team environment.
Security Clearance Requirements: Applicants selected may be subject to government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
The Locale: Bothell is a city located in the state of Washington in the Pacific Northwest. It is part of the Seattle metropolitan area. Bothell is home to Cascadia Community College and the University of Washington, Bothell.
Basic Qualifications This position will require strong attention to detail, organizational and communication skills. Highly proficient with Microsoft office tools. Familiarity with engineering drawings.
Desired skills - Experience with Creo and Winchill/EPDM - Mechanical design experience
