Mission Solutions develops, delivers, and operates affordable engineering and sustainment solutions for commercial, military and intelligence users across the globe. These mission critical efforts include development of innovative enterprise, cloud and application-based solutions for mission management, command and control, collection orchestration and tasking, processing, data analysis and analytics along with premier operations and sustainment capabilities of space-based programs in support of national security.
As the Product Owner, your job is to ensure the successful delivery of projects that integrate with the customer’s architecture. You will work with our Agile development and design teams on the delivery of high-priority and highly visible projects within short iteration cycles. You will play a critical role in the scrum team’s daily standups, check-ins, testing, and demo days.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading project team members and interfacing with high level stakeholders
Working with the team members to envision a clear, high-level technical solution that meets business and experience goals, without undue technical complexity.
Identifying, sizing, and prioritizing increments of work to be targeted for each iteration.
Communicating the project status, readiness, issues, and risks to management and stakeholders.
Owning the process of documenting end user stories, project risks, and dependencies within a project backlog.
Working closely with the project team, particularly the Scrum Master and technical architect, to design, develop, test, and deploy enhancements based on Lockheed’s Scaled Agile Framework Agile release process and iteration schedule.
Helping define and implement LM Agile processes, standards, and best practices.
Ability to obtain a TS/SCI Clearance required for this role.
Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering with Computer Science and Computer Engineering studies.
Strong computer and programming skills to develop maintainable code, perform thorough unit testing, integration, and regression testing.
Demonstrated understanding of agile development within a scrum team.
Must have strong teamwork and user support skills.
Linux OS background
Java, C, or Python programming experience.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Desired skills Proven experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Java / REST API experience.
