Lockheed Martin Sr Global Supply Chain Manager / Supplier Agreements / Cambridge, MA in Cambridge, Massachusetts

Lockheed Martin Energy has developed a novel flow battery technology to enable renewable energy sources, such as solar and wind, to power our society anywhere, anytime. Based in Cambridge, MA near the Alewife T station, the Energy Storage Development group is scaling and commercializing this technology for product launch next year. The Global Supply Chain Manager will report to the Subcontracts Program Manager and support the team in development of new supply chains for this exciting new product. Responsibilities will include:

●Develop a working knowledge of flow battery technology to identify key and strategic components and sub-components ●Develop and execute strategies to ensure robust, secure, and cost-effective supply for key flow battery components ●Travel domestically and internationally to support supply chain development (25%) ●Negotiate purchase orders with suppliers and contractors ●Develop an understanding of Lockheed Martin procurement process and ensure internal and external compliance ●Work with Program Management, Legal, and Supply Chain management to structure and execute supply agreements ●Demonstrate a proactive approach to managing a diverse workload in a fast-paced, high-volume environment ●Exercise sound judgement and model a high degree of personal accountability.

Basic Qualifications

BS/BA

A minimum of four years of relevant commercial supply chain management experience

Experience with contract drafting and management in a commercial environment

Desired skills

MBA with a concentration on Global Supply Chain Management and/or 10+ years of commercial global supply chain development and management experience

In-depth knowledge of the power generation, energy storage, and/or chemicals industry

Foreign language skills in Mandarin, Korean, or Hindi
