Lockheed Martin Sr. Subcontract Administrator in Cambridge, Massachusetts

The Subcontracts Administrator will work in the Advanced Energy Storage Market Segment at their Cambridge, MA offices. They will be responsible for supporting the SPM in capture, proposal, and execution of subcontracts and material procurements for domestic and international projects in renewable energy. Responsibilities include:

Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, and modification to purchase orders.

Maintains timely, effective and compliant purchase order placement and administration.

Ensures urgent data requests to the customer and data provided by the customer is distributed in a timely manner.

Exercises sound judgment.

Demonstrates excellent written and oral communication skills.

Demonstrates a proactive approach to managing workload as well as multi-task effectively in fast-paced high volume environment.

Models a high degree of personal accountability.

Basic Qualifications

Basic understanding of Supply Chain Management

Subcontract drafting and management experience is necessary for this position

Negotiations skills

Commercial buying experience

System skills needed (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Procure to Pay (P2P)) and the ability to learn other software applications required to perform duties

Attention to detail and accuracy are a must

Ability to analyze a problem and recommend solutions, problem solving skills required

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Business acumen needed

Self-motivated and takes initiative

Excellent organizational skills, problem solving skills, and the ability to interface with suppliers and internal customers

Ability to organize and prioritize assignments

Ability to work virtually form leader, independently or in a team environment

Degree that compliments the Power Generation/Storage industry

Able to travel both domestic and international
