Lockheed Martin is seeking to hire an Quality Engineering professional to support our Missiles and Fire Control campus in Camden, Arkansas. Our operations utilize state of the processes to produce and validate hardware for sophisticated missile systems. This exciting role will offer the opportunity to work with multiple hardware and launcher programs that support our military personnel.

The Engineer will work on complex technical problems and provide solutions that are highly innovative and ingenious. The Engineer will act independently to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of quality inspections and supporting assembly processes. The experienced Quality Engineer should exhibit an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness and be viewed as a leader within the field. The Engineer will develop information which extends knowledge in the field; develops new concepts and will participate in teams assembled to accomplish long-range objectives.

The engineer will attend industry conferences and will keep up-to-date on related industry best practices.

Camden is located on the Ouachita River, at the end of the navigable river. Camden is about a two hour drive south from Littlerock, AR. Camden is part of the Timberlands region of Arkansas. Timber, Oil, Deer Hunting, Bass fishing... These are words commonly used when people talk about the Timberlands of Arkansas. It's a region with rich natural resources that was discovered by pioneers from the eastern United States in the early 1800s. The abundant natural resources of the Timberlands are still attracting people today. Basic Qualifications Bachelors degree from an accredited college with 2 years of professional experience;

Organized with the ability to track multiple activities and prioritize task based on importance

Ability to interpret Drawings, Specifications, Contracts that will enable development and review of QE Processes, and related Performance Metrics.

Effective interpersonal skills, including Team building and Collaboration

Demonstrated problem solving skills, including Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action Planning.

Effective Communication Skills: Written, Oral, Listening, Presentation, Technical Writing.

Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc

Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Desired skills Technical Degree, preferably in Engineering

Working knowledge of GD&T,

Experience in utilizing Quality Tools such as, 5 Whys, failure analysis, etc.
