The Senior Proposal Analyst, will be responsible for the entire proposal process from RFP receipt to high-quality proposal creation and delivery in a high-volume environment. The Senior Proposal Analyst works closely with other key staff to develop and deliver high-quality, compelling proposals. The Senior Proposal Analyst will develop proposal pricing strategies. Lead pricing function, cost volume preparation, DCAA/DCMA audits. Develops pricing policies and standards. Develops and administers tools. They will also be responsible for facilitating bid strategy sessions and assisting with research and process improvement projects. The Senior Level Proposal analyst will mentor and provide guidance to the junior level team members.

What you'll be doing:

Develop and present price assumptions, financial summaries, and risk assessment to senior leadership prior to proposal submission

Lead proposal efforts from receiving the RFP to creating and delivering the proposal

Ensure the proper application of labor hour estimates, ODC, subcontractor, and material requirements, and overhead pools

Extensive customer interface with external and internal leadership

Provide leadership/technical guidance to junior level pricing analysts

Prepare cost volume to price a proposal

Work special projects as assigned

Basic Qualifications What you'll bring to the table:

Minimum of 8 years of Accounting/Finance experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

Knowledge of financial practices and of non-labor and labor estimating practices.

Solid understanding of the proposal process and bill of material structuring.

Experience with estimating techniques (labor & material) external audits.

Desired skills FBM Program experience Familiarity with LMSCC Financial practices, as well as Line of Business (LOB) business rhythms Experience with Pro-Pricer Experience working with remote sites Strong customer support skills Excellent logical analysis and problem solving skills Collaborative team player, and adaptable to different situations and personalities Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Especially Excel!!) Excellent communication, research and prioritization skills
