Lockheed Martin Scheduler in Colorado Springs, Colorado

The Scheduler ensures accurate, timely scheduling for non-operational activities being performed at Schriever Air Force Base (SAFB) in configuration managed areas. Develops and distributes various daily, weekly, and long term non-mission schedules. Perform other duties as required. Primary Duties: Processes utility outage requests IAW 50 SWI 10-1208, Chapter 7 for SAFB and present them to the Utilities Outage Board for approval. Process schedule requests involving AFSCN downtime IAW 50 SWI 10-217, paragraph 4. Maintains a continuous 14 day SAFB non-mission schedule via SAFB LAN including configuration freezes, communication equipment/system installs, removals, modifications, and maintenance actions. Performs an analysis of the schedule identifying any time-conflicting events or any risk of potential disruptions to ongoing operational activities, notifies the appropriate functional area, and assists in resolving conflicts. Conducts weekly meetings to review proposed schedules and updates schedules in the schedule database daily. Updates all activity schedules upon receipt of change information. Review Installation Modification Activity Requests (I/MAR) for required access areas, technical and mitigation factors. Assists in metrics collection and quality self-inspections. Develop processes and procedures. Provide inputs to Weekly Activity Reports and status updates. Review data prior to delivery to Customer for accuracy and completeness. Additional Duties: Archive historical records. Perform Government, contract and company training. Perform Customer requested special research. Assist with process improvements. Attend meetings as required. Perform other duties as required.

Basic Qualifications Bachelors degree in information technology related discipline. Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Office, Excel and Adobe Pro. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel; contractor, government and military. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information, including US Citizenship.

Desired skills General familiarity of facilities installation/maintenance requirements. Prior experience with 50th Space Wing on Schriever is highly desirable. Open Plan Professional experience. Analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to identify installation/maintenance impacts. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multi-task and determine work task priority.
