Lockheed Martin Test Engineer Staff in Colorado Springs, Colorado

This position supports the GPS M-Code for Early Use (MCEU) Program and will be located on Colorado Springs. The candidate will author test procedures/plans, perform test readiness activities/test execution, and author test and problem reports. This position involves requirements verification engineering via DOORS product as well as extensive use of GPS AEP test systems including simulated and remote assets. In addition, this position will require close coordination between hardware/software development and test activities as well as understanding of GPS signal modernization and GPS user equipment Candidate must be willing to travel and/or to work shifts, and at times work extended hours to support test events. Candidate must have the ability to work in a team-oriented setting to achieve goals and objectives in a fast paced, schedule driven environment. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. At a minimum, a Final Secret Clearance is required prior to starting employment.

Basic Qualifications Experience developing test procedures for Component Integration Test (CIT) and/or Formal Qualification Test (FQT) Excellent verbal and written communication skills. At a minimum an active DoD Secret clearance is required for this position. Desired skills Experience with Solaris of Linux Operating Systems. DOORS requirements management tool experience Solid background and understanding of Global Positioning Experience with GPS IIF, IIR or GPS-III
