Lockheed Martin Aeronautical Engineer Associate in Fort Worth, Texas

Joint Strike Fighter mechanical design of component installation hardware, electrical installation hardware, fluid delivery systems hardware. Design using 3D CATIA design tool. Engineering release coordination to include post release shop support and post aircraft delivery support.

Must be a US Citizen, this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related technical field.

Desired skills • Prior experience in a related industry preferred. • Demonstrated proficiency in mechanical systems analysis, qualification, and life management • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in airframe drawings, structural load paths, aircraft structural behavior, fracture mechanics methods, and aircraft maintenance requirements • Demonstrated knowledge in automated methods of crack growth and durability analysis (such as IMAT, CGRO, LOOPIN) is a plus. • Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work, multi-task, and manage time effectively. • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
