Lockheed Martin Aircraft Maint Spt Engineer Sr in Fort Worth, Texas
Selected candidate will serve on the Repair & Replenishment Team for the Joint Strike Fighter program supporting all RMS Non Air Vehicle products (ALIS/Training/SE/PFE). Primary function of the team is to provide Repair/Replenishment/Procurement support of all Non Air Vehicle equipment fielded used to support all variants of the Joint Strike Fighter (F-35A/F-35B/F-35C), for both ashore and afloat operating environments across the globe. The ideal candidate will already have experience in one of the product lines as well as relevant experience with the F-35 Global Sustainment structure and processes. Additional duties include: Work closing with the procurement department processing 1,000’s of PO annually, responsible for ensuring “Best Value” for our customer in both Repair Turn Around Time (RTAT) and Cost. Manage a substantial budget annually in support of our product lines. Coordinate Quality Controls for all repairs and procured items. Provide weekly/monthly status reports for financial, technical (R&M) and vendor performance. Review incoming requirement for contractual impacts and programmatic requirements. Be able to lead a team of professionals located in multiple locations. Must be comfortable briefing senior leaders and customers. Prior senior military maintenance/supply experience is highly beneficial. Some U.S. and international travel may be required.
Basic Qualifications -Requires extensive background in military aviation maintenance -Able to brief small or large groups; -Strong written and verbal communication skills; -Microsoft Office Software; i.e. Excel, Access, Word, Power Point; -This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Desired skills -Ability to work jointly with the customer and teammates to identify solutions that meet both Government’s and industry’s needs -Background in unit (“O”) level aircraft maintenance, Beyond Unit Level Repair (Vendor/Depot) and Supply Support (Parts Procurement) -Ability to conducted and participated in Vendor Evaluations -Experience supporting international customers, Foreign Military customers and International Vendors -Knowledge of procurement process -Experience with Import/Export requirements -CAM certification to manage Multi-Million dollar annual contracts -Must be able to multitask -Must be able to work effectively in stressful environment -Ability to collaborate with and integrate multi-functional teams.
