Lockheed Martin Aircraft Maintenance Support Engineer Sr in Fort Worth, Texas
Utilizes released engineering obtained from Multi Program Release System (MPRS), Electronic Document Management System (EDMS), and Aerospace Engineering Instructions (AEI) to develop F-16 Stores Management System (SMS), weapons suspension, and gun systems fault isolation, job guide, and general system organizational level Technical Orders (T.O.). Coordinates and communicates with the local Central Technical Order Control Unit, Air Combat Command, Equipment Specialists, as well as Lockheed Martin internal engineering to provide T.O. maintenance for multiple F-16 customers. Receives, processes, and evaluates the merit of T.O. change requests (AFTO Form 22 and AF Form 252) received from field units. Supports requests for technical order pricing activities as necessary.
Basic Qualifications Experience using Maintenance Information Data Access System (MIDAS) organizational level Technical Orders (T.O.).
Experience maintaining military aircraft Stores Management System (SMS), weapons suspension, and gun systems.
Desired skills Possesses a complete understanding and wide application of the MIDAS T.O. numbering system and associated Fault Isolation Manual (FI), Job Guide (JG) and General System Manual (GS) task relationships.
Knowledge and flightline experience using Technical Orders (T.O.) to troubleshoot discrepancies within the F-16 Stores Management System (SMS), weapons suspension, and gun systems.
Working knowledge of avionics theory of operation and integration with aircraft systems also a plus.
Understanding and interpretation of engineering data with previous technical procedure authoring experience a plus.
Strong computer skills, attention to detail, and the aptitude to learn Standard Group Markup Language (SGML) tagging in a composite database environment. .
Experience using Epic Editor, Isodraw, Arbor Text Tool Suite, Quick Silver, and Microsoft Office Products also a plus.
