Lockheed Martin Business Application Programmer in Fort Worth, Texas

This position is in the Business Requirements organization within Program Management Processes & Controls (PMP&C). The candidate will develop and maintain business application solutions to provide decision making information in the fields of Program Management, Program Finance, and Program Planning and Scheduling. The selected candidate will support upgrades, investigate tool issues, and provide general user support. Role will require interacting with program planning personnel and management along with Enterprise Business System (EBS) technical community. Preferred candidate experience would include developing compliant Integrated Master Schedules, validating cost and schedule integration, and submitting Format 6 CDRLs. Should have ability to support lines of business with analysis of performance and health metric results to improve program performance. The following list details the selected candidate’s potential responsibilities. • Serve as the designated lead for key tool specifications, requirements gathering, design, development, and test efforts • Support testing and deployment of software patches, software and hardware upgrades which impact EV Tools. • Support OpenPlan, Primavera, P6Web, PRA, Artemis ProjectView and Microsoft Project applications. • Support cost/schedule alignment and reports using Data Driven Metrics, including updates to algorithms and verification of results. • Assist with surveillance, process and tool development, implementation, training development and delivery. • Provide assistance with the development of solutions for non-compliant conditions and monitoring corrective action to ensure resolution of deficiencies. • Perform short term deployment to programs for development and maintenance of program schedules, mentoring of deployed planners, and assistance to PP&S deployed teams in implementing compliant PPM practices.

The selected applicant will be a member of a high-performing multi-site team and must be self-motivated, possess a strong work ethic and efficient time-management skills. The successful candidate must demonstrate effective communication skills as the position will require frequent inter-organizational and outside customer interactions. The ability to travel on occasion for team interaction and integration is required.

Basic Qualifications • 3-5 years experience in software development and program planning • C#.NET experience • Oracle/ SQL or equivalent database experience

Desired skills • Experience with OpenPlan, Primavera, MS Project, and MS Office applications • Excel Macros or Visual Basic experience • Experience with tool support to maintain business rhythms. • Visual Studio experience • Proficient with Primavera, OpenPlan, MS Project, Artemis ProjectView, Schedule Analytics. • An extensive background in planning and project management with an emphasis on Planning processes, tool testing, and Earned Value systems support including interface impacts is strongly desired. • Planning and Scheduling experience with large USG development programs using EVMS.

Experience with the following preferred: • VB.NET • JAVA • Team Foundation Server • Schedule Analytics / DCMA Data Driven Metrics • Excel experience with pivot tables and v-lookup • PMI Certification (PMP, PMI-ACP, PMI-SP) • Exposure to software language skills and the Agile software development methodology • Experience with Software Development Lifecycle methodology • Knowledge of network scheduling and other scheduling processes, engineering design systems, planning systems, MRP systems and design change process • Development and Test Tools such as HP Quality Center • Recent experience with LM Aeronautics PP&S or industry EVMS-related command media.
