Lockheed Martin Category Management Manager in Fort Worth, Texas
Manage Domestic Production part components, systems and commodities for the F-35 Program. Direct the organizations day-to-day operations and responsible for integrating supply chain initiatives. Ensure sourcing strategies, release plans and commodity strategies support production, facilities and sustainment for all programs. Assure adequate capabilities and capacity in supply chain. Develop, train, and promote workforce vitality. Manage procurements groups for request for proposal (RFP) activity, negotiations, awards, post subcontract award - supplier performance for assigned components and commodities. Manage procurement group to meet program targets/estimates at completion (EACs), small business goals, etc. Manage and influence critical path releases of SOWs and plans to align with required schedules and supplier lead times. Develop and implement long term agreements (LTAs) and category strategies for assigned commodities and/or components.
Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications - Program/project management skills
Demonstrated learning agility
Experience developing long-term strategies and tactical plans to achieve enterprise objectives
Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR ) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR), government regulations
Experience with subcontract cost, quality, schedule and technical program performance
Experienced at identifying and building organizational talent, team building and development
Desired skills -Strong organizational skills to handle many overlapping projects simultaneously
Ability to successfully interface and interact with all levels of the organization
Must be willing to travel as needed
-Supply Chain knowledge/integration desired
-Experience with import, export and international trade regulations
-Demonstrated negotiations experience in a Truth in Negotiations (TINA) environment
-Experience executing lean processes and initiatives
Masters degree preferred
Experience managing procurement and/or sourcing teams
Industry prime negotiation experience and customer interface
International Program experience
Experience with systems such as MRP, LMAP, and SAP
Experience leading large cross functional initiatives
Strong presentation skills and ability to address complex matters/solutions with Senior Leadership and customers
