Lockheed Martin Category Management Manager in Fort Worth, Texas

**This position is contingent on program award*** Manage major subsystems for Advanced Pilot Trainer (APT). Direct the organizations day-to-day operations and responsible for integrating supply chain initiatives. Ensure sourcing strategies, release plans and commodity strategies support production, facilities and sustainment for APT. Assure adequate capabilities and capacity in supply chain. Develop, train, and promote workforce vitality. Manage procurements groups for request for proposal (RFP) activity, negotiations, awards, post subcontract award - supplier performance for assigned components and commodities. Manage procurement group to meet program targets/estimates at completion (EACs), small business goals, etc. Manage and influence critical path releases of SOWs and plans to align with required schedules and supplier lead times. Develop and implement long term agreements (LTAs) and category strategies for assigned commodities and/or components.

  • Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications - Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR), or Department of Defense Contracts (DOD).

  • Experience with general subcontract management such as cost or quality or schedule or technical program performance.

-Minimum 8 years experience in supply chain or subcontract management or logistics or similar discipline.

Desired skills -Supply Chain knowledge/integration desired - Experienced at identifying and building organizational talent, team building and development.

  • Ability to develop long-term strategies and tactical plans to achieve enterprise objectives.

  • Strong program/project management skills.

  • Must be willing to travel as needed

  • Demonstrated learning agility.

-Strong organizational skills to handle many overlapping projects simultaneously.

  • Ability to successfully interface and interact with all levels of the organization.

-Experience with import, export and international trade regulations.

-Demonstrated negotiations experience in a Truth in Negotiations (TINA) environment.

-Experience executing lean processes and initiatives.

  • Masters degree preferred.

  • Experience managing procurement and/or sourcing teams.

  • Industry prime negotiation experience and customer interface.

  • International Program experience

  • Experience with systems such as MRP, LMAP, and SAP.

  • Experience leading large cross functional initiatives.

  • Strong presentation skills and ability to address complex matters/solutions with Senior Leadership and customers.
