Lockheed Martin Electronics Engineer Staff in Fort Worth, Texas
As a member of the F-35 Electronic Warfare / Counter Measures (EW/CM) team, the selected candidate will be responsible for supporting activities associated with the development and maturation of Mission Data Tools (MDT) for use on 5th Gen fighter aircraft. Responsibilities include defining and documenting engineering requirements, writing specifications, coordinating with the EW Principal Engineer and other key stakeholders, and interfacing / coordinating with various F-35 Joint Reprogramming Enterprise laboratories (USRL, NIRL, ACURL and RC West).
The Selected candidate shall use their firsthand operational knowledge of Electronic Warfare systems, to include fundamental EW related performance techniques, modes of operation, and an understanding of fully integrated EW systems for advanced aircraft platforms. They will use their familiarity with Software Problem Anomaly Report (SPARs) and have experience managing suppliers. They shall use their knowledge and experience with existing F-35 reprogramming capabilities, have knowledge and experience programing and testing Electronic Counter Measures, and experience programming and testing multiple different combat Electronic Warfare systems. In addition, they will use in-depth knowledge of functional and operational radar theory, and experience programing and testing Radar Warning systems • Must have an active Secret Clearance to start, and be able to obtain related program clearances.. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications • Experience with Laboratory, Field and Flight Test of Electronic Warfare Systems (EWS) and Electronic Counter Measure (ECM) Systems
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience
Desired skills • Familiarity with JSF avionics suite and systems engineering processes. • JSF program clearance. • Good communication and analytical skills. • Experience designing, programming and testing Operational Mission Data • Experience in data analysis of Combat Integrated Mission System • Experience working with Electronic Warfare Integrated Reprogrammables (EWIR) • Hands on Electronic Warfare lab testing: Testing and evaluating Operational Flight Program (OFP) as well as Mission Data File (MDF) and Stimulator programming experience • Experience with Foreign Military Exploitations (FME) Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Excel spreadsheet, scheduling and Database applications • Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technical filed or equivalent experience/combined education
