Lockheed Martin Finance in Fort Worth, Texas

Manages and directs a variety of matrixed cross-functional team members in new business pursuit and capture activities for combat aircraft (F-16, F-22, F-35 and future platforms). Partners with peers from program management and business development to align and unify cross functional team efforts to achieve Aero revenue and profit targets, while also balancing financial and execution risks in support of the Aero and Lockheed Martin CFO. Responsible for leading and aligning the efforts of team members from business finance, strategic planning, business development, contracts and other professional staff ensuring contractual compliance, cost management, budget development and analyses, financial estimating, configuration management and proposal support.

Travel is required, at times on short notice, typically for less than one week, and periodically for durations of greater than 2 weeks. Total travel is estimated to be 25%, and could include both domestic and international travel. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Selected applicant will not require a secret clearance to begin employment, but will be submitted for a secret clearance afterwards

Basic Qualifications • Bachelor's degree or above with minimum of 8- 10 years’ experience in a related field

• Experienced Team Leader or Manager

• Experience in leading peers through frequent "change management" cycles or work related projects

• Experience building effective internal and external customer relationships.

• Experience working with, and maintaining functional deadlines.

Desired skills • MBA with emphasis on Finance or Organization Behavior preferred. • Experience with expert level functions of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, such as Excel Macros and Pivot Tables. Experience formulating, charts and generate presentations, for "C Level" management. • Experience leading a cross functional team with no direct reporting authority over those team members. • Can execute a process, but will also be able to lead others with confidence through campaigns characterized by Volatility, Uncertainty, Change, and Ambiguity.

• Demonstrated understanding and working knowledge of our company and general financial principles we uphold

• Powerful network of trusted relationships established in Aero, or the experience establishing such a network if a newcomer.

• Understanding of Major FMS and Commercial Program contractual Formulation/Arrangements.
