Lockheed Martin Human Resources Services Leader in Fort Worth, Texas
The successful candidate will Lead and manage a team across three main sites collaborating throughout Lockheed Martin regarding new employee orientation (on-boarding) and off-boarding services, outplacement services, return to work/family medical leave administration, contingent non-employee labor and personnel files. This role affords a significant opportunity for an experienced Human Resources professional to impact the Human Resources Operations strategy as it relates to the these areas and the experiences created for new hires joining the company, employees on family medical leave and employees exiting the company.
The successful candidate will:
• Provide leadership and direction to team of human resources professionals in order to achieve desired results. • Partner internally with all human resources teams to advise, counsel and coach in areas to include, new employee orientation (on-boarding) and off-boarding services, outplacement services, return to work/family medical leave administration, contingent non-employee labor and personnel files. • Manage employee performance and development by conducting performance planning and review, coaching employees, and carrying out disciplinary actions when necessary. • Act independently in a multi-faceted and rapidly changing environment. • Lead team to deliver exceptional employee and leader experiences. • Drives lateral connectivity and collaboration within HR and across the enterprise. • Delivers data-driven human resources solutions that are efficient, effective, and flexible. • Creates, supports and rewards an agile learning environment that enables innovation, inclusion and leadership.
Basic Qualifications • Demonstrated knowledge of the field/discipline of Human Resources practices, processes, and regulations • Demonstrated experience leading others, setting the vision/direction, and partnering with relevant organizations to achieve the intended results • Demonstrated experience managing projects, including developing project plans, identifying stakeholders, preparing corresponding communication plans, identifying of milestones, deadlines, and metrics to assess outcomes/results • Demonstrated experience using relevant software tools/ solutions e.g., Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project), SAP, etc.
Desired skills Partners internally with all human resources teams to advise, counsel and coach in areas to include, but not limited to: On Boarding and Off Boarding services, return to work administration, leave administration, benefit support, and domestic relocation. Drives lateral connectivity and collaboration within HR and across the enterprise. Delivers data-driven human resources solutions that are efficient, effective, and flexible. Creates, supports and rewards an agile learning environment that enables innovation, inclusion and leadership.
• Strong preference for demonstrated experience in the areas of new employee orientation, return to work/family medical leave administration and contingent non-employee labor. • Demonstrated experience selecting, managing, developing direct reports/ employees, and fostering an inclusive environment • Must demonstrate strong decision making and judgment, oral and written communication, business acumen • Basic to moderate knowledge of organization design principles and methodology • Basic to moderate knowledge and experience with change management principles and methodology; preference for experience using Prosci methodology • Demonstrated experience consulting with internal or external organizations on Human Resources Operations topics • Demonstrated ability and experience coaching executives, leaders, and employees • Demonstrated ability and experience facilitating groups to create solutions and resolve issues • Demonstrated understanding and experience applying of Human Capital Analytics and key workforce metrics • Must demonstrate basic to moderate financial acumen • Demonstrated experience developing broad and coordinated strategic workforce management plans for Human Resources, including identification of workforce gaps, opportunities, and methods to address near and long term resource requirements • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders using multiple methods based on context • Demonstrated experience delivering results for the business in partnership with Human Resource’s Centers of Excellence, corresponding Human Resource’s Business Partners, and other organizations as needed • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships, collaborate with others, engage in constructive conflict, and manage interpersonal dynamics
