Lockheed Martin Insp - Electronics A in Fort Worth, Texas

Requires the inspection and checking of electronics systems and equipment used on production, prototype, engineering test, modified, development, or experimental aircraft. Inspect operational checkout of two or more complex electronic systems. To understand and apply complete knowledge of theory, practice and procedure related to the inspection and operation of aircraft electronic systems. To read and interpret complex blueprints, circuit diagrams, schematics, and other specifications source material. Makes final flight release operational checkout of complete electronics systems where thorough knowledge of electronic theories, inspection procedures, the detailed make up of the systems and their components and allowable deviations from established specifications is required. Inspects electronics systems (electronic and electro-mechanical) for operational accuracy and dependability, proper installation and alignment, tie-in with related systems and structure, and other specialized requirements, making final determinations as to acceptability for customer or Company reflight. Prepares required inspection records and reports. Orders rejections, adjustments, and rework referencing the reasons therefor.

Basic Qualifications Experience with flight line operations, preferably on tactical fighters jets

Experience with avionics trouble shooting and repair equipment and techniques.

Experience in aircraft system operational check outs and inspection background preferably in the avionics field

Experience with use of inspection tools to assess aircraft serviceability

Experience with MS office programs

Desired skills 4 years experience as an Avionics inspector or technician on a Flight line

6 years experience in general or military aviation maintenance.

Tactical fighter experience.

Ability to work with minimal supervision oversight, proven self-starter
