Lockheed Martin Items Analyst Staff in Fort Worth, Texas
This position is for the Technical Team Lead for the F35 Sustainment Supply organization. The candidate will be responsible for leading the team to ensure spares are distributed to meet Operational and Depot repair requirements for replenishment, replacement, returns for repair, parts required for aircraft modification for spares and consumables. Supports both SDD Flight Test and Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) efforts. Major responsibilities of this position include:
• Representing Supply Chain at daily Readiness meetings with the Deputy F-35 Sustainment Program Manager. • Integrating Supply Chain Inputs to the F-35 Readiness Cell. • Developing and Communicating Ops Center input to performance metrics. • Developing and implementing improved processes and tools to automate Ops Center reporting. • Providing Supply Chain Management for storage and transportation of the assets being returned into the supply chain pipeline. • Generating purchase requisition for repair actions. • Monitoring receipt of the item at source of repair. • Tracking and reporting status requirements action until delivery is complete. • Preparing and/or coordinating required shipping documentation of source of repair. • Acquiring data associated with each repair action.
The candidate will be the principle point of contact regarding the effort to order and status replenishment spares and repairs through the ordering systems to ensure delivery to meet aircraft operational requirements.
Successful candidate must possess management ability and foresight to direct redistribute, re-order and coordinate asset movements with the pool of program assets that will best support the immediate and forecast needs.
Support proposal development, project management, and coordinate activities.
This individual will be intimately involved in LRIP spares posturing to include both Performance Based Logistics (PBL) and non-PBL Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) liaising.
• This position will be the Lead for a 24/7 technical team and needs to be willing to work non-standard shifts as required.
Basic Qualifications Minimum 3 years experience utilizing ERP system in an Aerospace / Defense Supply Chain environment. Minimum 3 years experience with Performance Based Logistics (PBL) as a Third Party Logistics provider. Minimum 8 years defense industry experience as civilian professional or combined military and civilian experience. Experience in weapon system acquisition. Leadership experience. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired skills Experience with benchmarking, proposal development and evaluation, depot repair, Title 10, Department of Defense (DOD) working capital, international programs, government/industry partnerships and Earned Value Management System (EVMS.) Knowledge of the following management systems: Advanced Technical Logistics Applications System (ATLAS,) Advanced Planning and Scheduling System (APSS), etc.
