Lockheed Martin Manufacturing Engineer in Fort Worth, Texas
The position reports to the F-35 Rate Transition Manager and will be assigned to the F35 Factory Transition Aircraft Final Assembly team. Responsibilities include developing plant layouts, tooling philosophies, ordering and tracking tools being built at tooling suppliers, assessing production shop equipment needs, analyzing capital forecasts, investigating tool discrepancies, determining root cause, initiating tooling rework activities and standing up production areas.
- Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications - Experience demonstrating problem-solving skills. - Experience using Microsoft Office Suite tools. - Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
Desired skills - Possess good communication skills (written and verbal). - Ability to be a self-starter, who is highly motivated and can operate in a high-tempo environment and possesses the capacity to work in a changing environment in a multi-functional teams. - Familiarity with F35 Final Assembly and facility stand up.
