Lockheed Martin Manufacturing Engineering Associate Manager in Fort Worth, Texas

Second Shift F-35 Manufacturing Engineering Associate Manager for F-35 Production Operations Production Engineering Team providing direct support to Forward, MATE, Wing, Final Assembly Build Teams. This person will have oversight to all F-35 Production Engineering Functions on second shift. This person will coordinate as needed with other agencies such as Planning, Fab, MRB, Tooling, NDI as needed to drive solutions to issues effecting Build Teams. Ensures that ME develops and maintains Plans and Tools for F-35 Factory Build Teams and provides inputs back into the build process for upstream SWBS'. Works to establish Root Cause Corrective Action for identified issues. Manages ICA / CART / CAB / Senior CAB Tasking's. Supports Delivery Operations Performance Management Teams. Supports creating and boarding projects through MCCB for Rapid CRI or for Affordability Implementation. Accomplishes revisions to reflect technical updates as needed. Coordinates with Production Operations and Manufacturing supervision to ensure straightline processing of aircraft and components through all SWBS phases. Works within established engineering databases to release and update baseline engineering and procedures. Manages staff, personnel actions, annual LM Commits, and personnel recognition / career development. Manages team and tasking's to established budget profiles. Must be able to rotate shifts and work alternate shifts as required. Some weekends and overtime required as a general standard in this position.

Must be a US Citizen or legally authorized to work in US as a permanent resident. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications • Experience reading engineering blueprints, support equipment requirements and tool designs. • Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite. • Experience wth tooling and assemble processes.

Desired skills • Prior Aircraft Experience Desirable. • Prior Leadership Experience Desirable. Prior Leadership Development Desirable. • Shop Floor Systems (CATIA V4/V5, PDM, VAS, CAPPS, QADs, SFM, EWI) Lean Principles knowledge, Root Cause Analysis knowledge, Microsoft Project, Problem solving skills, good written and verbal communication for interfacing with technical support team, build team, and internal and external customers. • 5th Gen Fighter aircraft experience desirable.
