Lockheed Martin Material and Process Staff Engineer in Fort Worth, Texas
The selected candidate will be responsible for: 1) working as part of a team with Production Operations (especially Final Finish and Flight Line) to resolve issues associated with the application of LO materials in a high-rate environment; 2) assisting with Signature M&P (SM&P) supplier coordination; 3) helping to develop and reviewing training curricula; 4) coordination as part of a team with operational bases, depots, and flight test centers; 5) the development and writing of processes and specifications for various LO material systems; 6) coordination with all Engineering disciplines affected by SM&P decisions; 7) providing information related to the reporting of issues and/or results to upper management and/or the customer; 8) assisting in the development and overseeing the execution of material qualification plans; and 9) assisting with overall coordination with contractor and JPO Material, Signature, Sustainment, ES&H, Supply Chain Management, and Supportable LO engineers. Secret security clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years required prior to start.
Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications - Experience in F-35 Signature Material & Processes (SM&P) - Experience with F-35 Low Observable (LO) materials - Experience using PDM and QADS - Experience with BTPs and disposition QARs and SQARs, and be able to work across IPTs -Bachelors Degree in engineering or scientific field
Desired skills - Knowledge of the F-35 Corrective Action (CA) process, and be able to support and lead a CA team. - Experience with supply chain management - Familiar with Procurement processes, practices, and personnel. - Familiar with both Material and Process specifications,
