Supervisor position within the Composite Manufacturing organization. With general guidance from functional management, responsible for providing team leadership to a customer-focused team or group of teams committed to increased quality and productivity. Responsible for coordinating employee training, performance targets, work assignments, and recognition/disciplinary actions. In accordance with organizational goals, provides direction on activities and behaviors. Motivates team members and facilitates team meetings. Cultivates and reinforces appropriate group values, norms, and behaviors. Identifies and analyzes problems, plans, tasks and solutions. Provides guidance on team development, performance, and productivity issues. Monitors team budget and ensures proper use of assets. Represents the team, presenting team suggestions and recommendations on processes and procedures in accordance with organization cost, quality, and productivity goals. 2nd shift position

Basic Qualifications Experience within a manufacturing environment Experience in work allocation Experience in managing others/ leadership role Experience/understanding of blueprint/drawing reading Experience with Microsoft Suite Experience with or understanding of Composite Manufacturing processes

Desired skills Position is 2nd shift, must be prepared to work Degree preferred, equivalent experience acceptable Ability to motivate team members by cultivating and reinforcing a diverse and inclusive environment. Ability to obtain special program access security clearance Accountable for all aspects of quality, cost, and schedule relating to area of responsibility. Exceptional interpersonal and communicative skills required. Prior Leadership experience within a manufacturing environment. Prior management experience in Composite Manufacturing environment, with experience using tools, machines, and systems typically used in a Composite manufacturing •A proven track record for shaping the future by building effective relationships The ability to energize a team, and deliver results by modeling integrity and accountability • Experience with Lean manufacturing concepts and cost reduction with an understanding of business metrics to drive performance • Familiarity with Lockheed organizational environment and data systems • Working knowledge of Lockheed Martin company policies and union bargaining agreementspreferably the Ft Worth Manufacturing Facility • Knowledge of 6S Activities and ISO9001 & 140001 Process and Audits Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Prior experience managing in a union environment preferred.
