Lockheed Martin Operations Engineer Senior in Fort Worth, Texas
As part of the Capacity and Rate Readiness team, you will be mitigating new challenges in a rapidly changing environment. This supply chain professional will support the development of optimized material flow from suppliers/teammates to satisfy the evolutionary customer demands.
Specifically, these professionals will co-lead and participate in multiple teams whose charter is to assess the suppliers’ readiness to meet the full rate production needs of the F-35 Program and to combine the data from the assessments to create/implement excellence plans with their technical expertise to eliminate risk in the future supply chains.
Candidate must have demonstrated ability to formulate effective action / project plans and integrate with / lead cross functional subcontract management teams to achieve results. Candidate must also show demonstrated ability to brief and interact with executive leadership on a routine basis. Up to 50% travel both domestically and internationally will be required.
Basic Qualifications Experience in supply chain with a background in a manufacturing environment. Experience leading a project, process improvements, or program. Experience preparing and making presentations to various audiences, up to and including senior leadership. Bachelors degree from an accredited college.
Desired skills Experience coordinating effectively with team members, internal and external customers, and senior leadership Lead and/or Facilitation experience in a structured improvement activity. Experience with Global Supply Chain execution Knowledge of risk management Knowledge of quality management systems and processes Knowledge of the engineering release process Knowledge of LM procurement practices. Knowledge/experience using LM information systems including SAP, VAS, PDM, JDL, SFM and QADS. Strong communication skills (written and verbal). Microsoft Access and/or SQL experience.
