Lockheed Martin Operations Engineer in Fort Worth, Texas
This position will report directly to the Director, Enterprise Demand Supply Control (EDSC). The successful candidate will possess the skills to identify opportunities, constructively navigate controversial issues, and influence senior management on relevant topics. Manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects. Ensures executive directions and initiatives are tracked, prioritized and executed upon. Coordinates studies, leads improvement initiatives, within Company. Deals with abstract issues and develop associated plans and strategies to address. Utilizes problem solving and intervention techniques to assist with resolving organizational issues. Facilitates and negotiate agreed-to solutions. Act as the liaison for overall organizations communications.
Successful candidate must have strong inter-personal skills capable of working in a fast paced environment across all levels of management and customer organizations. Candidate will coordinate with Customers and Internal Management to produce desired end products within directed schedule and funding constraints. Responsible for promoting the enterprise perspective while ensuring the delivery of solutions to successfully meet individual program commitments.
Basic Qualifications The most desired critical skill sets include the ability to collaborate cross-functionally, build consensus, shape/influence opinion and articulate the future state. Must be able to execute project management, interact effectively across organizational boundaries and with all levels of personnel, must possess excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Must be creative and an effective multi-tasker, must be flexible and able to respond to rapidly shifting priorities. In addition, the selected individual will support Control Account Management (CAM) activities for the EDSC organization.
Desired skills Production Operations, Sustainment and/or Supply Chain Management experience/knowledge. Experience with multiple phases of the product life cycle (capture, development, production and sustainment). Ideal candidate will have some process experience and be able to drive process improvements.
