Lockheed Martin Photographer in Fort Worth, Texas

Performs digital photography through approved procedures, techniques, and practices with appropriate hardware, software, digital cameras, photographic quality printers and storage devices.

Prepares software applications and operates a variety of electronic camera equipment/systems and software with a high degree of accuracy; recognizes operating difficulties, and makes proper adjustments; and performs post production tasks for high quality output by incorporating color balance, density, format, cropping, size, quantity, etc. Performs photographic assignments with digital cameras and peripherals.

Analyzes and evaluates assignments by combining technical knowledge and departmental policy to obtain the desired results. Completes special photographic set-ups and operates equipment as necessary to perform work assignments.

Performs liaison work with any affected organization to gather data required for developing assigned technical photographic work.

Analyzes source data and task to determine optimum utilization of digital photography in generating the end product.

Utilizes approved digital system to ensure the most effective use of digital work related to storage, retrieval, and distribution.

Checks, verifies, and sight-proofs completed work for errors to ensure compliance with job specifications and company photographic standards.

Guides and instructs less-experienced personnel in photography; maintains a working knowledge of conventional and emerging photographic techniques.

Completes administrative and accounting requirements as prescribed by company directives to close out proper charging of tasks and in utilizing approved workflow tools.

Basic Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree in photography or related field

• 3 years professional experience in the field and studio.

• Ability to operate various DLSR cameras and related gear

• Experience with digital archiving management systems

• Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Bridge

• Portfolio of work required at interview

Desired skills • Knowledge of other photo editing software, such as Adobe Lightroom

• Strong composition skills

• Demonstrated skill in portrait work
