Lockheed Martin Quality Control Analyst in Fort Worth, Texas

Reviews, analyzes and reports on quality discrepancies related to raw materials, parts, assemblies, processes, and or systems. Provides support to ensure raw material, parts, chemicals and/or finished products is compliant with quality standards and applicable government regulations. Conducts process surveillance audits to evaluate procedural adherence, documents findings and provides statistical summary of collected data to assigned program leadership and outside organizations. Investigates problems, analyzes quality data, reviews nonconformance disposition for accuracy and assists with corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. Responsible and accountable for coordinating containment efforts, tracks nonconformance documentation data for accuracy and trends, and provides containment analysis to Quality Engineers for corrective action coordination. Responsible to provide necessary on-the-job training related to quality control methods, techniques and tools to the quality control workforce. Interfaces with manufacturing, quality, engineering, and customer representatives to ensure requirements are met.

Basic Qualifications 1st shift position • Must be a US Citizen or legally authorized to work in US as a permanent resident. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. that requires special access. • Experience analyzing data, develop charting, read/write technical documents and build presentations. • Experience reading and comprehending blueprints, engineering specifications and drawings, technical data and planning documents. • Experience utilizing precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gap guns, etc.) and inspection equipment. • Experience utilizing Microsoft office tools.

Desired skills • Working knowledge of PDM, QADS, VAS, and SFM systems. • Familiarity of Final Acceptance inspections and Safety of Flight areas on the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter or similar military fighter jets. • Experience communicating information in a clear, concise, data driven manner. • Good communication skills are desired. • High ethical standards. Models and supports organization’s goals and vision; adapts to changing conditions; demonstrates persistence and ability to overcome obstacles. • Ability to work well in a diverse team environment. Experience with organizing and presenting data supportive of corrective action and or failure review boards.
