Lockheed Martin Senior Project Management and Planning Operations Represenative in Fort Worth, Texas

A position within the Import/Export Control function facilitating international shipment transactions supporting a production and sustainment enterprise. Responsibilities include interfacing with Customs Brokers and Freight Forwarders to effectively communicate import/export instructions. Utilize related procedures and ensure audit preparedness. Review and interpret import/export regulations, laws and requirements, including, but not limited to, Customs Duties (19 CFR), the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and associated regulations pertaining to international transportation activities. Provide guidance to other organizations engaged in import/export compliance control activities. Continuously monitor business practices and associated processes and procedures that affect the import/export transportation activities to ensure compliance with aforementioned regulations. Support internal, corporate and external assessments/audits of import/export transactions. Maintain SAP/GTS compliance modules. Work cooperatively with technical personnel to establish proper import and export jurisdiction and classifications in accordance with the Harmonized Tariff Schedule, Schedule B, EAR and ITAR. Conduct regular audits of the company, brokers and freight forwarders for compliance with import/export procedures and policies. Execute appropriate actions to correct deficiencies and/or add new controls for meeting regulatory changes. Act in an advisory role as liaison for the Import/Export Control Department with Legal, Procurement, Global Sustainment and various Program Management personnel to achieve compliant international shipments. Must be a US citizen position working in facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications •Experience with Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)

Desired skills •Strong business software skills (e.g. databases, spreadsheets and website applications). •Experience in the Import / Export / Re-Transfer of defense commodities •Experience military product classifications(e.g. USML, ECCN, HTS and Sch B.) •Experience with SAP (Systems, Applications and Processes) •Experience with Freight Forwarders and/or Customs Brokers •Experience with FAR/DFARS •Experience with Air and Ocean Shipping activities •Experience in Microsoft Access, Excel & Word •Candidate should have strong communication (verbal, written, and presentation) skills •Ability to work in a team environment.
