Lockheed Martin Senior Subcontract Management in Fort Worth, Texas

Sourcing and contract administration of airframe metallic build-to-print components and assemblies made to engineering drawings within a Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system and Systems Applications and Processes (SAP) system supporting multiple aircraft platforms. Job duties include cost/price analysis, negotiations, documentation, purchase order maintenance and interface with functional organizations and supplier management as well as analyze and manage supplier capacity and capital expenditure plans. In addition, you will provide recommended modifications to policies or procedures to support continuous improvement. There are going to be special assignments as required by upper management. Coordinate production, procurement and inventory supply conditions across various internal and external functional organizations to align multi-level and multi-plant supply to demand schedules. Will mentor less experienced procurement professionals. Some domestic and/or international travel may be required. Must be a US Citizen or legally authorized to work in US as a permanent resident. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications • Bachelors Degree • Experience in subcontract management or supply chain or procurement or buying • Experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Experience with project management

Desired skills • Experience purchasing detail parts and/or assemblies with a working knowledge of basic build to print parts • Experience managing multiple domestic and international suppliers • Prior experience analyzing production requirements and SAP procurement systems or equivalent • Prior experience in leading special assignments as well as Root Cause Corrective Action and/or process improvement • Experience with leading, mentoring, and coaching others • Excellent communications skills • Prior experience issuing Requests For Quotes, Analyzing Bids, and negotiating procurements. • Experience multi-tasking • Ability to travel for work domestically and internationally • Skilled with problem identification through resolution • Experience with JDL, the Joint Strike Fighter Data Library • Experience incorporating engineering changes • Employ attributes to make independent decisions and be self-motivated • Experience with running presentations for upper management • Flexibility to work extended hours as necessary • Experience with PDM, Product Data Management • Experience with domestic and international contracting • Prior experience with Truth in Negotiations (TINA) procurements • Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) • Experience with min/max or vendor managed inventory systems • Master’s from an accredited college or university with a business or supply chain degree
