Lockheed Martin Sustainment Estimator in Fort Worth, Texas

As a member of the F-35 Estimating Team, individual will be responsible for leading, developing, analyzing and reviewing sustainment estimates for F-35 proposals. The selected candidate is a subject matter expert knowledgeable of aircraft Sustainment standups and operating costs . Will be responsible for developing and leading ROM/FAR/TINA/CAS compliant proposal estimates for LRIPs (Annualized, Non-Annualized, Spares Major Mods, etc.) and budgetary Life Cycle Cost in support of New Business campaigns while supporting fact-finding, negotiations and budgeting processes; supporting Sustainment Cost Baseline development efforts leading to strategic business objective to implement performance based logistics; interfacing with Sustainment stakeholders including all levels of management, and government program office counterparts; preparing briefing materials and presenting estimating work products; contributing to team work processes, training materials and continuous improvement efforts. Basic Qualifications • Degree in engineering, mathematics, statistics, business, or other related field. • Experience in Cost Estimating, Sustainment Logistics, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or other related field. • Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Truth In Negotiations Act (TINA), and/or Cost Accounting Standards (CAS). • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel spreadsheets.

Desired skills Experience researching, analyzing, evaluating and forecasting sustainment cost data using analysis techniques. Knowledge of LM Aero's work breakdown structure and pricing tools such as PC-TOPS and the Aero BOE tool. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
