This position is with the Skunk Works Mission Systems and Software team located in Fort Worth, Texas. The specific focus of this position is to participate in selection and integration of an aircraft CNI system and to provide ongoing interface with both a vendor and the customer. A broad working knowledge of Communications, Navigation, Identification (CNI) and Software Defined Radios (SDR) is preferred.
The selected candidate will be a member of a high-performing team supporting a technology development effort. The candidate must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, time-management, and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate must demonstrate effective communication skills as the position will require frequent internal interactions with project leads and other software engineers in the group. The ability to travel on occasion for team interaction and integration and test activities may be required.
Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Must have an Active TOP Secret Clearance to be hired.
Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or above in a STEM-related degree. Experience with system integration Experience with system requirements
Desired skills Radio architecture knowledge & Software Defined Radio (SDR) experience Tactical Datalinks knowledge Fundamental knowledge of digital (electronic) circuits RF basics: transmitters, receivers, signals (analog/digital), RF behavior (loss/gain, DBs, bandwidth, etc), modulation, spread spectrum, etc Avionics systems and embedded processing Experience with proposals, SRR, PDR, CDR preferred Experience generating SOWs and requirements preferred Experience with subsystem specification compliance preferred
