Lockheed Martin Technician Specialist in Fort Worth, Texas

This position is for a Sr. level Technician whose primary assignment will consist of engineering hardware fabrication support, troubleshooting, testing and basic Laboratory operations responsibility, particularly in the area of military fiber optics. Some climbing on ladders may be required as well as lifting up to 25lbs, pushing and pulling of electronic equipment on carts. These responsibilities will include fabrication of fiber optic harnesses and boxes, electronic/electrical chassis' and mechanical rack fabrication using development engineering drawings. Candidate must be capable of working independently, discussing technical issues with customers and working with vendors. An AA in Electrical or Electronics Engineering is highly preferred.

Basic Qualifications Hand Soldering, Cable fabrication, General electrical assembly. Basic electronic knowledge and electrical schematic interpretation required.

Desired skills Fiber Optic polishing, assembly, OBR troubleshooting. Wafer and Hot Air Soldering. Electronic troubleshooting in test equipment and labs. Proven ability to visualize and build electronic racks with minimal defects.
