Lockheed Martin Weapons Integration Lead Engineer in Fort Worth, Texas
Position is for the Weapons Integration Lead Engineer within the LM Aero Mission Systems and Weapons function. Candidate should have a strong Weapons Integration background on fixed-wing aircraft platforms, specifically integrating Air-to-Air, Air-to-Ground, Directed Energy, and Nuclear weapons. Primary responsibilities include:
1) Develop and implement strategies to advance the Weapons Integration competency across the LM Aero engineering workforce. 2) Shape investment decisions and develop internal and external partnerships to advance LM’s industry position in Weapons Integration. 3) Develop and implement strategies to reuse technology and share lessons learned across multiple LM Aero platforms.
The position will require a TS/SCI clearance.
Basic Qualifications - The candidate must have strong experience in Air-to-Air and Air-to-Ground Weapons Integration on fixed wing aircraft. - Experience with fire control software and algorithms, 4th and 5th Gen weapons electrical and protocol interfaces, and weapons integration facilities. - Demonstrated background and understanding of Lockheed Martin products, systems and cross-corporate capabilities. - Experience in strategy development with demonstrated ability to shape and grow the LM Aero business base. - Experience in detailed engineering concepts as related to Weapons Integration, export control and ITAR.
Desired skills - Weapons integration experience on multiple tactical aircraft platforms desired. - Experience with directed energy and nuclear weapons desired. - End-to-end weapon accuracy prediction modeling, including aircraft, sensor, and weapon error sources. - Weapon delivery accuracy analysis, including familiarization with weapon data requirements and formats as well as TSPI data requirements and formats. - Systems Engineering Experience. - Excellent written and verbal communications and presentation skills.
