The company is currently searching for an energetic, dependable, knowledgeable, talented, and team oriented Mechanical Engineer at Enflite, located in Georgetown, Texas. This position directs, coordinates, and exercises functional authority for planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of engineering project within area of assigned responsibility by performing the following duties personally or through other talented engineers: - Identifies project staffing requirements and coordinates staffing with supporting organization managers. - Assigns and oversees project personnel to specific phases or aspects of project such as technical studies, product design, preparation of specifications and technical plans, and product testing. - Develops and maintains schedules and budgets for the assigned engineering projects. - Controls engineering expenditures within the limitations of assigned project budgets. - Provides reports on the status of project milestones and adjusts schedules accordingly. - Coordinates preparation and delivery of project deliverables, design documents, and bid packages. - Reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. - Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems. - Performs/directs integration of technical activities and products. - Evaluates and approves design changes, specifications, and drawing releases. - Provides technical review and quotes hours and supplies estimated project schedules for Sales quotes and proposals. - Interfaces with customers to provide project status reports and ensure customer needs are met. - Provides status and progress reports to customer, project team, and management. - Coordinates with Project Engineers to maintain current and develop new engineering standard work. - Supports ACE (continuous improvement) processes and initiatives in functional areas of responsibility. - Demonstrate commitment to achieving ESH goals and objectives including compliance with all applicable policies, procedures and training requirements for a safe workplace. - Ensure compliance with company’s policies, procedures, guidelines, standards, etc. - Uphold company values, ethics, mission and vision. - Other engineering duties may be assigned.

Basic Qualifications Experience/Knowledge/Qualifications: Have 5+ years of Mechanical Engineering, preferably in the Aerospace industry. - Experience with mechanical systems and galley (refrigerators and heaters) is a plus. - Possess advanced levels of verbal and communications skills. - Ability to work alone or in a team environment. - Be able to adapt to an ever changing environment and meet the challenges of today and plan for tomorrow. - Knowledge/understanding of Engineering drafting standards and practices - High proficiency at SolidWorks (or equivalent) and modeling skills. - Experience in engineering and design disciplines/environment, and in reviewing blueprints, specifications and other engineering data. - Familiarity with modeling and design software. - Strong problem solving and decision makes skills. - Ability to create and deliver technical presentations and reports to various levels of the organization/customers. - Possess advanced levels of verbal and written communications skills. - Proficient with MS Office products/tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Be able to adapt to an ever changing environment and meet the challenges of today and plan for tomorrow. - Ability to work alone or in a team environment.
