Lockheed Martin Sr. Contracts Negotiator in Grand Prairie, Texas

This position supports HIMARS vehicle production, logistical sustainment and aftermarket services contracts in the Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) Tactical Missiles Business area. Tasks include:

Proposal preparation support, negotiations, contract administration, contract guidance and contract closeout.

Review and evaluate customer requests for proposal / information or revisions to contracts.

Assist with preparation of proposals, preparation of proposal review briefing packages, fact finding and negotiation.

Provide risk assessments and offers alternative approaches to mitigate risks, including alternative contractual language / clauses.

Investigate and reconcile significant contract changes involving cost, specifications, schedules, etc. and advises management of contractual rights and responsibilities.

Candidate should be able to handle multiple assignments and achieve program goals and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Candidate should be a self-starter who is detail and teamwork oriented.

Basic Qualifications

Experienced Contract professional

FAR / DFAR knowledge

Experience with CPFF / FFP contract types

Excellent communication and customer engagement skills

Microsoft Office skills

Candidate should be a self-starter who is detail and teamwork oriented

Able to handle multiple assignments and achieve program goals and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Desired skills

Experience in Contracting with the U.S. Government

Foreign Military Sales experience

Knowledge of Government Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)

EVMS / Data Rights knowledge
