The candidate is responsible for requirements derivation, system power architecture definition (functional block diagrams), identification of electrical subassemblies, requirement documentation, circuit card assembly design, supporting hardware fabrication, subsystem integration, and troubleshooting missile systems.

The Locale: Grand Prairie is part of the “Mid-Cities” region in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex which is in the North Central region of Texas. Grand Prairie is a suburb of both Dallas and Fort Worth. The region offers a great cost of living combined with a robust economy and a pleasant climate. The Mid-Cities is the suburban region filling the thirty-mile span between Dallas and Fort Worth. These communities include the cities of Arlington, Irving, Grand Prairie, Grapevine, Southlake, Colleyville, HEB (Hurst, Euless and Bedford), NRH (North Richland Hills and Richland Hills), Haltom City, Watauga, and Keller, along with multiple other smaller towns such as Trophy Club and Roanoke and together represent more people than either Dallas or Fort Worth.
Basic Qualifications Experience with switching power supply design, power architectures and electrical integration of power systems. Ability to generate circuit card schematics, support circuit board layout, prepare for design reviews, support manufacturing, perform design verification testing, generate interconnect diagrams and troubleshoot hardware.
The candidate must be proficient with Microsoft tools, Circuit simulation, Schematic capture and PCB layout tools.
Candidate must have an ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Candidate must have a BS in an associated field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Desired skills The following experience is desired: Circuit simulation, Schematic capture and PCB layout tools. DVT and bench testing experience.
