This position provides engineering visualization support as a full-time Orlando-based member of the EVE (Engineering Visualization Environment) group, which is based Grand Prairie, TX. EVE provides complex engineering visualization of MFC products. These visualizations are used both in program proposals, and during some program milestone events. Industry standard tools such as Maya, Adobe Suite, Substance Painter/Designer and ZBrush are used. Candidate will provide support to various aspects of the rendering pipleline, such as model building, motion capture, or compositing.

Candidate must be able to work within project scope, budget and schedules.

Basic Qualifications Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.

Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance

Digital portfolio is required to demonstrate skill competency

Prior experience helping customers with messaging definition and story development (storyboarding).

Prior experience with typical cradle-to-grave high-end visualization production pipelines. This applies to both cinematic pipelines and game-engine focused pipelines.

In-depth experience with Maya (all aspects) as well as animation, rendering and complex shader concepts.

In-depth experience with concepts associated with high-end compositing such as: (Adobe Creative Suite, Nuke, Maya, Substance Painter/Designer).

Ability to take abstract/complex engineering ideas and create visuals that a non-technical audience could understand.

Able to multitask effectively at multiple levels.

Self-starter, and open to out-of-the-box approaches to achieving development/production goals. Passionate about creative visual "storytelling".

Desired skills Project management/leadership experience related to visualizing complex engineering concepts and ideas.

10+ yrs experience with DOD-related programs.

Experience identifying new technologies and relating to ways to keep visualization capabilities moving forward.

Experience with AR/VR technologies

Experience with ZBrush, Unity Engine, Unreal Engine, Houdini

Proficiency with scripting languages such as MEL or Python is desired

Working experience in military or defense contractor is desired
