Lockheed Martin Subcontract Manager Staff in Grand Prairie, Texas

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Subcontract Manager for a position in Grand Prairie, TX to provide subcontract management support on the Long Range Precision Fires (LRPF) Program. This position represents the lead for major subcontracts. Duties include:

Key Participation in LRPF proposal preparation, proposal pre-work and post award execution.

Working with Program Management to establish the initial expectations to be required from subcontractors.

Evaluating / Negotiating Managing assigned Subcontracts to perform to the program's specifications, quality, budget, schedule and earned value requirements. This will include the timely delivery of Hardware, SDRL's or other deliverables required to fulfill the subcontract.

Working within a team environment, yet maintain control of the subcontractors.

Position may require Earned Value Management (EVM) monitoring and Control Account Management (CAM) duties.

Development activities may be required to validate efforts in accordance with Corporate Product Development (PDP) Procedures which may include Design, Technical and Program review.

This position will require travel.

Basic Qualifications

Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance

Major Subcontract Management experience in a defense environment

Working knowledge of FAR and DFARS

Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize

Excellent written and spoken communication skill

Ability to work independently

Program solving skills and ability to interface with multiple levels of management both internally and externally

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications

Ability to travel

Desired skills

Experience in managing Fixed Price Incentive Fee and Cost reimbursable subcontracts

Green or Black Belt certified

Control Account Manager (CAM) certified

Working knowledge of Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures

Working knowledge of Procure to Pay (P2P)
