Lockheed Martin Aircraft Refueler Sr in Greenville, South Carolina
Perform refuel and defuel activities on various types of aircraft per technical orders, Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA), and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and DOT standards.
Maintain accurate fueling records of all fuel movements and ensure completeness and accurate information is documented on related forms and tickets.
Ensure all required quality tests of fuel samples are performed per applicable standards and customer requirements.
Perform inspections of all fuel systems and equipment to ensure safe use during all fuel operations.
Service and fuel all Ground Support Equipment as required.
Operate and maintain an 18-wheel aircraft fueling/defueling service truck.
Perform fueling operations while adhering to all required standards and specifications.

Basic Qualifications - Minimum 3 years performing refueling and defueling activities on various types of aircraft

Desired skills Ability to read and speak English. Comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Support Operations by performing refuel and defuel services on various types of aircraft and service all Ground Support Equipment. The employee is regularly required to use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and perform repetitive movements. The employee is occasionally required to sit, twist, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and work overhead. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
