Lockheed Martin Human Resources Asst Spec in Greenville, South Carolina

Provides support to Sustainment Operations organizations in Greenville, SC: Field Team Operations (FTO)-both domestic and international, Greenville Sustainment Operations (GSO), and Greenville Core/Shared Services. May provide support to other LM Aero Sustainment teams on an as needed basis. Serves as point of contact for variety of inquiries (in person, phone, email, mail) from current employees, former employees, outside agencies, and members of the public. As needed, refers inquiries to HRBPs, HR COE team members, other LM resources, and other parties for resolution. Presents benefits overview briefing to new employees at onboarding, as well as assisting the Talent Acquisition team with other onboarding support as needed. Maintains paper and electronic personnel records. Initiates new files for new or transferring employees, and archives files of terminated employees. Maintains records per retention policy. Converts paper documentation to electronic records.Generates and issues scheduled and ad hoc reports from LM People HRMS queries. Automates regularly scheduled reports. Assists with preparation of slides for monthly Operations Directorate. Completes requests for background information from government investigators (example: Office of Personnel Management). Administers GSO employee uniform purchases and works with Finance POC to maintain and communicate employee account balances and to resolve billing/payment issues. Provides general administrative support for HR team members (travel arrangements, expense reporting, scheduling meetings, correspondence and records). Leads or assists with special event planning and execution (e.g., quarterly service awards, employee “all-hands” meetings, family day, special celebrations). Supports on-site interviews and meetings with visitors. Maintains company-authorized postings in bulletin boards across the facility. Assists with securing and shipping postings to smaller sites. Maintains HR Conference Room calendar. Maintains stock of office supplies, printer/copier supplies, etc. Serves as Data Owner for Greenville network (ONYX) drive folders.

Basic Qualifications Strong communication skills and customer-service orientation; Demonstrated positive interpersonal skills with the ability to adjust style as needed to develop effective relationships with all levels of leadership, employees and peers locally and virtually; Data entry/management experience; Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint). Demonstrated proficiency in the use of collaborative tools (i.e. SharePoint).

Desired skills Demonstrated knowledge of PeopleSoft (Human Resources) Tools; Human Resources Experience or completion of related course work; Continuous improvement training/mindset; Experience working across multiple locations with multiple stakeholders.
