Lockheed Martin Logistics Associate Manager in Greenville, South Carolina

This position supports our Field Team Operations (FTO) Program in Greenville, SC. The position reports to the FTO Logistics Program Manager and interfaces across internal functional lines and also with customer counterparts on programs and project status. The Associate Manager will work with the Logistics Program Manager to manage the efficient flow of goods, services, and information between points of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Insures that customer service and time objectives are achieved within existing financial constraints in order to meet marketing and financial objectives. Insures the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistics processes, such as the replenishment system, data interchange systems, demand management, electronic data systems administration and related functions. Monitors the building of relationships with strategic customers through logistics initiatives. Oversees the integration of learning from customers, competitors, operating entities, distribution, transportation, customer service, other industries, industry groups, and professional training to continuously improve competitive position. The position will collaborate with Customer organizations and interface directly with them to address questions, concerns and issues. This position involves significant domestic and occasional international travel. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Must have the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance prior to starting.

Basic Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college • Candidate must have at least 8 years experience in aviation logistics and aircraft sustainment (Inventory/Material Control/Supply Chain Management/Logistics) • U.S. Government military Depot Support Operations experience • Experience inventory and warehouse management techniques and operations • Experience maintaining strong business relationships with external customers and across internal organizations • Microsoft; Excel, Word and PowerPoint experience • Experience working in a Program Management environment

Desired skills • Experience withf Aircraft/Aviation Kitting operations • Commercial aviation supply chain management operations experience • Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) • Experience with aircraft component repair cycle management; repairs process, tracking, expediting, Mission Capable (MICAP) management, transportation management. • Proficient in Microsoft Project • Experience with Earned Value Management systems. • Experience decomposing customer requirements into an executable work breakdown structure. • Experience developing Rough Order of Magnitude (ROMs) and detailed Basis of Estimates (BOEs) in response to customer Requests for Quote (RFQs) • Experience with proposal preparation • Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills
