Lockheed Martin Hardware Engineer Staff in Hanover, Maryland

OCONUS - The antenna engineer will PCS (2yr) to Misawa, Japan.

The selected candidate will be responsible for the integration, testing, deployment and support of antenna/front-end hardware and related components. Antenna work would include maintenance, troubleshooting, working on motors, feeds, and LNAs for antennas ranging in size from 3 meters to 13 meters. The engineer would also provide input to the design of the systems that control the antennas and would be involved in solving complex problems associated with both the dishes and front-end hardware and software system equipment. Work would also include designing, modifying and maintaining system drawings (cable drawings, rack drawings). Additionally, the engineer would be responsible for rack hardware installation of servers, equipment slides, mounting brackets, shelves, and cooling / heating devices with no oversight.

The selected candidate will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Current/Active TS/SCI with Poly Clearance Required.

Basic Qualifications Antenna/Hardware engineering experience with antennas ranging from 3 meters to 13 meters (M&C, Motors, Feeds, LNA’s).

Desired skills SIGINT experience Field site experience Experience creating, modifying and maintaining system drawing packages. Proficiency in cable fabrication,installation and troubleshooting (BNC, ENET, RF, Fiber Optic, data). Experience with the deployment and configuration management of antenna hardware components.
