Lockheed Martin College Student Tech Sr in Herndon, Virginia
Perform 24X7 rotating shift console operations for a complex system to include new systems activations. During the initial training period the successful candidate is responsible to train for an advanced 24/7 position. Concurrently may support operations tools creation and maintenance. Will provide direct support to 24/7 operations. Once certified in an advanced position the individual will join 24/7 crew and be responsible for ensuring the execution of planned activities and taking corrective actions in response to anomalies and system degradations or failures. Performs analysis of segment and interfaces to ensure system is operating nominally. Interfaces with internal and cross-site personnel to conduct mission operations. Acquires, applies and disseminates technical skills and job knowledge to accomplish assigned tasks. Position requires completion of formal training program and certification to perform duties.

TS/SCI Clearance is required prior to starting employment.
Basic Qualifications Pursuing bachelor's degree in science and technology related programs such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, etc.
This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen
Desired skills Excellent communications skills
Proficiency in at least one of the following: TOPL, MATLAB, JAVA, C++, PERL, ORACLE/SQL, HTML, XML, LINUX, JAVA Script.
Astrodynamics and orbital mechanics including classical orbital (Keplerian) elements
