The Launch Control Development Manager will leverage their technical, leadership and interpersonal skills in a structured team framework and work in a cross-functional team environment. The Development Manager is accountable for oversight and team accountability for ALCS Launch Control product development and functional management. The individual selected for this position will perform functional management duties and serve as a technical interface among all program stakeholders. The Development Manager Directs daily development activities of LM team members, ensuring the tasks receive the proper resources applied and tasks are completed in expeditious manner. The Development Manager synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints.

The Development Manager position scope includes but is not limited to: •Overall responsibility for the design, build, test, and delivery of the Launch Control System. •Product Management of subsystem engineering of Launch Control components and sub-assemblies. •Cost Account Manager (CAM) with Schedule, Procurement, Quality, and Performance responsibility •Perform product risk and opportunity management for the Launch Control system. •Maintain product metrics and take action to ensure positive trends. •Prepare product make/buy analysis when required. •Perform functional management responsibilities for the Launch Control Team.

Basic Qualifications Candidate must be a US citizen and applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

•Strong leadership and people management skills. •Excellent verbal and written communication (including technical writing) •Demonstrated Strong organizational, multi-tasking, communication, presentation and decision making skills •Ability to perform functional responsibilities to include time cards reporting, compliance, staffing, awards, appraisals, career discussions, and salary planning. •Demonstrated technical and project leadership, CAM and EVM experience. •Demonstrated Excellence in people and interpersonal relationship skills •Motivated self-starter who works effectively under tight deadlines. •Extensive experience in hardware/software development, integration and test within an Aerospace environment •Knowledge of Safety Critical OS's and Safety Critical COTS products •Hardware Architecture and Integration Knowledge •Software Architecture and Development Knowledge •Real-Time Middleware Design Skills •Candidate must have an active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance
