Lockheed Martin Electrical/Electronics Engineer in Huntsville, Alabama
Specific responsibilities include electronics design, cabling design, electrical circuit analysis, hardware integration, and test including various components, subsystems, and system level hardware acceptance testing. Candidate will be responsible for supporting the development of component level specifications and interface control documents. The candidate will support all phases of design/development including support to requirements definition, vehicle design, product integration and test. Candidate will also support the preparation of materials for major program reviews including Systems Requirements Review (SRR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), and Critical Design Review (CDR). The candidate may support missions at various Missile Defense Agency ranges. Some travel will be required.
Basic Qualifications Bachelors or Masters degree in an Electrical/Electronics Engineering program from an accredited college/university. Ability to interpret and create electrical schematics. Basic understanding of analog and digital circuit design. Experience using Microsoft Office and Autocad or comparable drafting software. Knowledge of electrical power, telemetry, and RF systems. Knowledge of flight and/or ground hardware electrical equipment. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance; interim secret clearance required prior to start.
Desired skills At least two years of experience developing flight hardware; capable of working in a fast paced environment. Additional desired skills include Electrical Control Systems, Telemetry, RF applications, low voltage DC power, electrical ground support equipment (racks and consoles), cabling/harness design, knowledge of Flight Termination System and Flight Tracking System hardware, and/or electro chemical batteries for aircraft/missile use.
