We are looking for a recent graduate who is self-motivated, a strategic thinker, and team player willing to share knowledge with other team members. You will work with the Weapon Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (WSEIT) team supporting the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) program. This is a great opportunity for a new college grad to work and learn alongside a dynamic engineering team.
What types of responsibilities will you have in this position?
• Provide System Security Engineering, Cybersecurity, and Information Assurance support to configures and/or validate secure systems and test products and systems to detect security weakness. • Perform or evaluates vulnerability scans on systems utilizing approved network scanning tools and appropriate Government provided software and scanning tools. • Develops information systems security plans and procedures. • Provides system integration and coordination between THAAD components regarding Security Engineering and Information Assurance functions. • Participate in assessments of security engineering designs and implementation in all aspects of Security Engineering and Information Assurance. • Assess and mitigate system security threats/risks throughout the program life cycle; validate system security requirements definition and analysis; establish system security designs; implement security designs in hardware, software, data, and procedures; verify security requirements; perform system certification and accreditation planning and testing and liaison activities, and support secure systems operations and maintenance.

Basic Qualifications Familiarity with operating systems: Unix/Linux (Solaris, RedHat, etc.) or Windows OS (7, 10, etc.) Demonstrate an understanding of Cybersecurity / Information Assurance Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance prior to starting in the position (requires US citizenship)
Desired skills - Comp TIA Security+CE certification or equivalent - Familiarity or experience in creation of Certification & Accreditation (C&A) or Assessment and Authorization (A&A) evidence - Experience with DoD/NIST RMF processes and artifact development - Knowledge of the Systems Engineering Life Cycle - Basic network knowledge to include routers, switches and firewalls - Experience with scripting in Visual Basic (VB), Perl, Python, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) - System Hardening and Vulnerability Management Patching
