The Human Resources Manager will partner closely with a team of HR Business Partners and business clients in support of the Johnstown Production Operations site objectives. As a trusted advisor, the chosen candidate will be able to positively influence and impact the organization by building strong relationships and offering innovative solutions. With a comprehensive understanding of the organizations business strategy, this position will align HR initiatives to critical business needs.
This position will also serve as the Talent Champion that assists in identifying, developing and retaining talent that enhances team performance. This position is responsible for transforming core values into common practices at all levels of the organization and will be recognized as the Culture Ambassador.

Position also assures labor relations practices are in compliance with NLRB, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and other workforce management laws and regulations.
The selected candidate will collaborate and partner with a forward-thinking team of professionals. Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed to support the organization.
Basic Qualifications 5+ years of comprehensive experience in Human Resources with relevant degree Strong labor relations background including administration of a collective bargaining agreement as well as investigating and responding to grievances, preparing and supporting arbitrations, and collective bargaining
Desired skills Previous experience leading HR teams and initiatives Certification(s) in the Human Resources and/or Labor Relations disciplines Labor Relations and/or HR experience in a Lean Manufacturing Organization Ability to prepare and present HR initiatives and programs to management and employees. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where multiple initiatives are happening simultaneously Ability to maintain company and employee confidentiality and handle sensitive information in an appropriate manner Excellent computer skills with the ability to create and run reports; experience in MS Office tools Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with all levels of leadership, employees and peers
