Lockheed Martin Electronics Engineer Staff in King Of Prussia, Pennsylvania
This position Is located in Sunnyvale, CA and supports the Air Force Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) Technical Maturation and Risk Reduction (TMRR) Program. This Electronics Engineer Staff position supports the overall AVE IPT Avionics Team acting as the lead engineer for special test equipment and the associated test and handling strategies. This includes defining test system architecture, allocating requirements, defining and detailing electrical interfaces, defining and developing requirements for equipment supporting nuclear surety related arm and safing devices. Also required will be generation of preliminary and critical test equipment design products working closely with flight design engineers in the definition of board and box detailed test strategies and test products. The engineer will work with Design Leads and other Subject Matter Experts to understand the hardware and systems, select instrumentation and data acquisition resources, and develop necessary plans, schedules and budgets as well as periodic statusing and with recovery plan definition as required. The candidate must function well in a creative, high-tempo, collaborative, cross-functional, dynamic and multi-disciplinary environment. This position will start in November of 2017, and is contingent upon the GBSD TMRR award in September of 2017.
Basic Qualifications - Frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques. - Develop solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity. - Knowledge of COTS Instrumentation and Data Acquistion products for Hardware and Software test applications - Knowledge of nuclear surety arm and safing requirements and implementations - Knowledge of box and card test requirements and process. - Has demonstrated proficient presentation skills and associated presentation tools.
